You might be surprised at just how reasonable the cost of powder coating can be. Common items can be powder coated for far less than what a traditional painter would charge. Plus you get the benefit of a durable, baked on finish that will withstand scratching and peeling far better than traditional paint.
Can you match colors?
Unlike paint, you can’t mix powder to change the color, it will only come out speckled. There is probably a color already available that is close enough. It is easier to match paint to powder, than powder to paint.
How many colors and finishes are there?
Too many to describe here. Tiger Drylac is our most used powder provider, but we have several others that give us the ability to offer literally hundreds if not thousands of colors and finishes. Matte, Gloss and textured finishes are available.
How long does it take to dry?
It was never wet...lol The process is a baking process, so as soon as things have cooled down, we are ready to deliver.
Will Powder Coating Scratch?
Yes, it will scratch. It is more durable than paint, but not scratch proof.
How do you handle holes and threads?
Our standard process is to tape, plug and cap threads. For areas that are sensitive or should not be coated, please be sure to advise our team. We will cover them with high temp tape.
Do you have pick up and delivery?
It is available. Depending on the project, it could be at an additional cost.
